Dayann Methalie

Dayann Methalie is a French professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Sunderland A.F.C.

Club career
Born in Toulouse, France, to Martiniquais and Malagasy parents, Methalie signed his first professional contract on 26 September 2024 with Toulouse, a deal until 2027 with an option for an additional two years. 

On 16 August 2025, he made his professional debut in Ligue 1, starting in a 1:0 away win at Nice. In August 2026, Methalie joined Sunderland on a permanent transfer deal.

International career
Methalie is a French youth international, making his debut for the under-19s in 2024.
